I also have 2 case fans running to a hub that came with the Phantek case. (aio-pwm) (radiator fans-pwm,(smart fan)) (gpu fan-auto) The led diode are respectively My gpu radiator fan is plugged into case/fan2. My 2 radiator fans split and are plugged into my cpu/fan1. I did discover what the notification from win10 is. Logitech LGS (keyboard/ mouse) And my Epson XP-7100. What I have currently installed is Team Speak 3. So since my last post the issue happened again.
So as for an update I uninstalled HWinfo64 last Sunday and the problem has NOT returned. So since then it's the old trouble-shooting thing we all love so much. That lead me to believe that it was OS sided. Anyway, one day I heard from win10 that notification chime and also noticed my fan LED's shut off and the fans idled-down. My old Asus R5E10 didn't have that feature. I noticed that this board had LED's that indicated when a certain type of fan was plugged in. After I installed a B-Quiet fan for my gpu radiator. Wanted something to view temps, etc.Īll that aside, Dragon Center has not been in my system for months. HWinfo64 was installed after I removed Dragon Center.
The only thing I didn't like about Dragon Center was the D9 code which I read about as being, 'a false code', or something that a bios clear or flash would square away.
The cpu cooler and case had their own controls, so I just re-did the wiring from the board and used their own controls. Couldn't get the case and cpu cooler too be recognized. Installed Dragon Center and Mystic Lighting for the lighting and fan control.
No to having them both installed at the same time. I will continue to give this some time, (issue was random), and report back with and update.
I've removed the program, and so far so good. That (at this point) seems to have been my problem. Interestingly enough I've found a thread that describes my issue to the 'T'. Furthermore this issue I've describe has been taking place long before I did that.
Beyond what Windows can remove on it's own. Programs like Dragon Center embed themselves pretty deep. While I understand your valid concern over going into the registry to remove remnants of programs, it's always been something I've done after using 'Programs/ Features'. Only idle down away from the fan curves I've established. Yes, the motherboard fans idle-down and the LED's that indicate PWM, A/C, or AUTO turn off. Went to event viewer and saw nada.Īny help or advice is greatly appreciated, It posted nothing, just the chimes it makes. Weird thing is, when it happens, win10 makes a notification sound. That last cmos clear was just tonight, so maybe it will work. Since this problem began I have cleared the cmos from bios, (F6), and I have followed the advice from reading here to power down, unplug, hold reset button for 20 seconds and so on. I did go through the registry and remove the remaining entries. I had Dragon Center installed and thought that something might be affecting it from that. Naturally the system begins to heat up without the curves. The only way to get them on is to restart the rig. So the first 2 lights are red and the last white. 2 fans are set as pwm, (pump, and cpu/ radiator fans), the other is set to auto. I'll be gaming or just browsing and my fan LED's on the motherboard will go out.
